One more thing.
Has this replaced the E-series ISO firmware thread?
I can't find the latest ISO firmware and I can see that the E-series ISO firmware thread is gone?
I've been away for a while and apparently things has changed.

Switched on to the E85 PI map and trying to run with straight pump E85 and a fuel it TBI. I do not have the logs to upload offhand however I can tell you the AFR is pretty steady and overall looks healthy.
The only issue I am getting is a a solid SES. code is a part throttle lean code. Thinking the fuel tables at part throttle are a touch too lean for E85 straight from the pump. Any suggestions? I topped off my tank with 3.5 gallons of 91 to see if my suspicion is correct.

I am getting ready to do a BEF, is there potential for issues if my JB4 Firmware is not current? I dont have the JB4 USB cable and not sure if my impatient butt can wait for the JB4 USB cable to come in....lol

Anyone planning to have traveling repairmen go from town to town doing bench flashes? Or a database of shops that can do it? I contacted two local tuners, of which one responded, and said they can't do it. The direct and indirect costs for some of us to send out DMEs are outlandish.

Are there any negative consequences of running on "track" cooling 24/7?

Been running mine like this since it was released, water pump took a dump shortly after I flashed it....but I think it was coincidental 57k on the ODO, pretty common failure at this mileage.

Car is throwing a lot of codes and I think it's because I have the wrong TMAP in there. Also, I cannot find your email anywhere lol
Thanks

You should be fine running the stock TMap as long as you haven't specified the 3.5 version in either the JB4 or MHD (for reference, if you are using both the JB4 and MHD, when fitted, you should select the 3.5 version via the JB4)
Pre the 3.5 install, don't target boost >20 psi - stock caps out at ~21psi and you need a little headroom

You can do it yourself for around $130 and 6 hours of your time if you’re willing to purchase a Chinese KTAG.

Thanks. I ordered a JB4 and I'm going to wait and see if it works well by itself for my applications.
I watched three DME removal videos and they were in three different locations ("N55" obviously F-series, 2x "E90"), so I don't even know where mine is. E92N with N55. If the JB4 doesn't cut it I'll probably like, do more posts about that.

Is there a definitive setup recommended for obdii emissions testing?
I'm about due for annual inspection and according to MHD, only the following are complete:
Misfire, Fuel System, and Components
All the rest are either incomplete or not avail.
I am running the July Pump BEF with 5.15 firmware. The JB4 has been set to 4/2 and Map 0 since two weeks ago and over 400 miles. I also have the OEM *** so nothing odd or tricky here. I haven't seen a definitive config for readiness, but I also don't think it's necessary to flash back to stock? I'm running out of time so I can't really experiment with what "might" work.
Thanks for any help here.
Update after I was able to get inspected:
My issue was my JB4 settings were somehow corrupted; the "Blocked in USA" WMI setting was "On" and ghosted so I couldn't change it. I'm still not 100% sure of what was happening, but I believe the JB4 was resetting the readiness (auto clear??). I got a fix in JB4 Mobile which set the WMI "Blocked in USA" to "Off" and ghosted. After this and a drive cycle, I got readyness.

If you want to be 100% sure since you are running out of time I would flash back to the stock MHD tune but make sure you have the option checked for your OEM/Catted d0wnpipe. Leave the JB4 in Map 0, go out at night when the road is empty, and do a drive cycle:
http://www.europeantransmissions.com...0Procedure.pdf
Then check your readiness again with MHD.

Havent seen anyone with VTT here. Im buying MHD tomorrow. So what flash is best for me?
Vtt Stage 2+

3.5 Tmap
Flex Fuel Cable
Pump Gas 90% of time
When I had Cobb, Tery had targeted around 22 psi.

two pump files. meth? -
09-28-2017, 08:55 AM
Even with 6 speed manual tranny?
Also, in the first file in the first page, there are TWO PUMP Files
1) 9E60B_PUMP
2) 98G0B_PUMP
Which one is the correct one?
And what is going on with the meth integration. I just read through the 32 pages, and that isint clear. Does it work? Is it progressive or not? Etc. Just figuring out what settings to set on METH and MAP 6.

98G0B_Pump is the correct file for your car. The 9E60B file is for late E-Series cars (2012+)

Ive got my car on the E30 MHD shelf map and Sport cooling (jb4 gear out for troubleshooting )
Normal driving during the day yesterday saw engine temps around 100C.
Last night I was stuck idling for around 20 mins (in park waiting) and engine temps were up around 120C.
Couple of questions, should sport flash allow the temps to go this high and if not, maybe i need to check my therrmofan speed controller or switch?
Fan did work jb4 in - on maxcool. Car full of coolant, no leaks.
