Installation is the same as the n63 connecting to each TMAP sensor on the intercooler and running the OBDII cable under the dash. Additionally the MAF connectors (on the to of the engine) must be unplugged for the n63tu JB4 to function properly.
V2 systems now also include optional built in BCM connections which can be attached for those looking to push higher boost levels.
Note that older system shipped with a V1 EWG board while systems shipped after 2019 include a V2 PWG system. The V1 EWG board does not have BCM connections and will not operate with the V2 PWG firmware.
Map guide:
Map0: JB4 disabled
Map1: Additive map, up to 5psi requested over stock
Map2: Additive map, up to 6psi requested over stock
Map3: Absolute map, 18psi peak, BCM suggested
Map4: Stock with CANbus active for logging and in dash gauges
Map5: Absolute lower torque map ramping up to 20psi at redline, BCM required
Map6: User definable map generally used for diagnostics
Map7: Absolute map, 23psi peak, BCM + fuel control wires required
Map8: Progressive WMI map, boost varies based on meth flow and boost additive on the WMI page. BCM suggested.
Optional fuel control wires:
Not included with the JB4 system but can be added to V2 PWG boards for those looking to run higher boost levels or E85 mixtures. Also a bit of a DIY project. You'll need to identify your fuel pressure connectors at the end of the fuel rail, determine if they are "large" or "small" style, order 2x fuel pressure connectors from our website, and extend the wires on one as required to reach the fuel pressure connector. The JB4 pins for the connectors are posted in the photo here: N54Tech.com - International Turbo Racing Discussion - View Single Post - F Chassis N63TU JB4
How to update firmware:
For firmware updates if having issues we suggest you turn off WiFi, change upload timeout to 25, and set your phone next to JB4 box under the hood.

The torque is insane while driving.
Need new tires. Spinning in 3rd on the highway.
Hell yea. I want a ride tomorrow!

I hope the trans holds! lol. If only we could reach that 2nd boost solenoid there is another 50hp at our fingertips. I guess worst case might be to make the BCM posi-tap installed somehow for the really hardcore guys.

Where exactly are those solenoids? If the "hardcore guys" are anything like me, they'd rather do some disassembly for access than use posi taps.

We'll post more info on adding a BCM to the n63tu once we're further along in development.

NICE GAINS! your N63 and N63tu baselines are very close 408/407hp and 456/466tq...
Once you added the JB4, Do you think your prototype intake played a major role in the huge power and tq spread vs the N63's dyno?

We're not yet sure to what degree the intake has added performance. We're waiting for the next revision and then will dyno it vs. stock. Unfortunately, it's the height of our busy season, and with so many projects under development, there is little time to go around. We'll get it done though.

Hum..... gotta do some research on the 550/750 xDrive system. A 700hp+ 750LiX would be awesome. B7, S8 Plus and S65 killer.
EDIT: That was easy. All BMW cars, from the 1 series to the F02 B7, use the same ATC35 transfer case. The X5/X6 use the ATC45 (or ATC700 for the M's). So its the 8HP70Z, ATC35 combo. Should be pretty safe, up to the driveshaft at least.
BTW Terry, Did you ever find out about that 550 that was losing power with the DP? Its been a while, but I think it was cutting boost or something above 4000rpm? I'm going to assume this fixes that?
