Tial Q BOV Issue need advice -

Well I just got done installing my Charge Pipe and Tial Q BOV. Dont really know what to expect. I though that the diaphram was supposed to move up and down when you give it some gas. Mine does not.
How do you diagnose if you have a bad BOV? I have an 08 335i with **'s DCI, FMIC, and CP running MHD Stage 2. Is there something I can log or can I do something? Not sure what to expect and dont want to run it if it aint right.
