Normal temperatures here in germany are quite low, with minor peaks in the summer. Not taking it to the track either.

Also I would prefer a clean solution, where the fitment and parts that are coming with the IC are great. If I need to build custom brackets to make it work, then thats a deal breaker.

Never really had CSF in the equation, gonna read up on them!

Something also to consider is drag racing. If you are sitting in staging lanes you will get a lot of heat soak before your run. If you don't drag race then I think a larger intercooler will serve you fine. All of the intercoolers that are built for your can shouldn't need special brackets. If you want to run a 7 inch intercooler you will need to cut away some of the plastic.
