New TSB just released on oil consumption with the TU. I haven't seen the actual bulletin yet, but from what I've heard, BMW is supposed to be giving owners with under 100k miles two extra quarts of oil with each oil change to add to the motor as it consumes it. They're also doing consumption tests and offering replacement engines if it fails. Prorated, of course. They're paying from 0-100% depending on mileage.
