Thanks for the replies. Yeah I think BMS with the stock diverters is the right way for me. I'm not really wanting the big blow off sound :D

Unless it's some mechanical issue with CYL 3, fuel via the injector is the only thing that you haven't ruled out. Given it's always on the same cylinder I'd be at a loss to think what else it could...

Agreed, I don't think for diagnostics issues it will be a big problem...although be aware that there are 'old' (index 1 - 10) and 'new' (Index 11 and 12) calibration injectors that can't be mixed...
