I haven't really pushed my car yet so I took it for a spin and went ahead and hit the kick down to go WOT and while the car pulled hard it would feel at the top end like it was hesitating or skipping...

I know that the CAN FLAP module and JB4 can both stop CEL's from popping up (for obvious reasons).
My concern is if there is a different, legitimate engine issue, will it not show a CEL then?
