Are you able to use an N55 Tmap on an N20 car? Rewire it?

Reason for asking is my friend has an N20. He doesn't mod his car so I was just wondering if swapping Tmaps with him would work.

So long story short: OBDII firmware was uploaded to my JB4. I have the JB4 where it still requires the wires to be spliced in and the map control is through the volume buttons.
