Likely culprits are charge pipe and intercooler connections if you want to troubleshoot on your own. Fastest result would be to get a pressure and smoke test done.

I believe the different numbered maps will correspond with different dme versions. It shouldn't let you flash the incorrect map. If pwg e85 2 is working for you, then you should have the right one....

Since you already have meth, stage 2 is over kill. Stage 1 really isn't "needed". Stage 1 would be more of a fail-safe if the meth failed which is unlikely.
