Just bigger turbos. My guess is that they are flowing a lot more air and it's just more of a tuning issue. Vac port and lines have been upgraded to 1/4", BOV has the recommended spring

My vrsf 7.5" fit my e61 with ease. Had to relocate the ambient air temp sensor and cut down the fan shroud a little but it was made to be. I'd assume your IC would fit as well

Removal is possible by dropping the subframe / engine together from the bottom using a table jack and a lift. If your doing it on jack stands you will want to pull the front clip
