It is very likely there is a torque limit in the trans. The 6AT had one, but we have been able to remove it with the xHP trans tune. I am not aware of anything like that on the 8AT yet.

You made it sound like this was from 2 different dyno's? If so, you can't compare numbers from one to another that well. You can get an idea, but they can be off a fair amount from one to another....

For the trouble I would just get a PS1 and probably have the same performance. With that said, I would skip the PS1 and go with a PS2.

Just like others said, your clutch is slipping. With the jb4 active you are making more power and your clutch can't hold it. That is why it changes when you change maps too. Get an upgraded clutch.

Careful it isn't tuned or your might get really embarrassed. I think you will lose if it is stock, but it will be close. A tune gives them over 100hp more.
