I have gone through this a few times throughout the years.
Reset throttle on MHD fixes it for me.
It happens around the same rpm range as well and is even more annoying if it happens on a bumpy...

You could order a new clip as well but....I know the zip ties have worked fine for a few people.
I would order a clip because I have issues...

That is the one. The line that is disconnected has the famous clip that breaks. If yours keeps slipping off, that clip may be broken even though it is still there. Also IIRC that clip has a smooth...

Like I said, I do use them to monitor temps before a pull. Trans, oil, IAT, water....but anything else is pointless to ME as I would not catch it before JB4 or DME.
maybe i'm just slow ....

How many have caught overboost conditon on gauges and let off BEFORE Jb4 kicks you into map 4 safety ? Same with AFR. Same with fuel pressures,...

I mainly monitor temps to be sure I am somewhat safe BEFORE doing a pull/run. During the run, who looks at AFR, HPFP, LPFP, Stft, etc ???
Eyes should be on the road/track.

Only a log would tell if it is safe.
Fueling, IATs, AFR , etc all need to be considered before saying anything is safe.

From factory the DME controls boost just fine. MHD OTS reflashes the DME for more aggressive boost and timing etc and still uses DME for control.
There is more but I will leave it at that.

Setting to map 1 as you suggest would conflict (I would think) with new MHD that also has map switch via steering wheel controls...

You can run a BEF and JB4 to control boost and such. What I think you are trying to do is run a MHD OTS tune in which case you could run map 4 for logging and gauges n stuff.
Pointless to run a OTS...

Up to you if you want to push more. You said 16 or 17 psi earlier in thread.
If you want to push more than map1, I would add ethanol, but keep an eye on lpfp if you do.
