The 'original' PUMP BEF (9E60B_PUMP.BIN) isn't listed in the E Chassis N55 MHD Back End Flash Maps folder (98G0B_PUMP.BIN is listed, but I need 9E60B for my DME).

Is there somewhere I can download...

With the PUMP2 BEF, the trims start at 25 (like usual) but then start dropping as the pull goes on, eventually going all the way to 9. With the old PUMP BEF (as well as the stock flash), the trims...

I asked Terry and he just said there was nothing major as far as differences between the two BEFs. I've flashed PUMP2 but only driven about 40 miles with it. Can't really tell a difference, but I...

I suppose its an artifact of flashing with the new no-DME-unlock-necessary version of MHD for late e-chassis N55? Just glad the solution was straightforward.:)

Plugs are Bosch ZR5TPP33S gapped to .026 with 8K miles on them - I don't suppose they could have something to do with the weird timing? Or could that be some sort of problem with the canbus wires? ...

Right on! :drinking:

I think the JB4 kind of had what you're describing way back when it had the "auto clear" option - non-critical codes would not trip the CEL. That was scrapped when BMS had...

e36addict: yes, 9E60B_PUMP is the correct file for the N55 X1.

After running Map5 for a while with ~E40 fuel and seeing 17psi with 10-12 degrees of timing, I_avg at 0.6, trims at 35 maximum, and fp_h dipping only to 14, I got brave and decided to try Map7.
