'14 F20 M135iX - Log Review

3 Attachment(s)
Hey Everyone!

I've been having some issues with the car jerking (kicking?) under acceleration - especially in the lower two gears. I'm trying to rule out as many things as possible before any substantial work will be done to it.

The car is a '14 F20 M135iX with EWG and a couple of bolt ons (BMS intake, Race cats, full exhaust). The car's milage is somewhere around 60k KMs. The car had it's engine pulled out at around 52k KMs due to rod bearing failure.

The runs have been done on the second map starting in the third gear at around 2.5k RPM.

I appreciate any feedback. Thanks in advance!

Just to confirm...did the issue occur on any of these logs?

What fuel?

Sorry, wasn't clear about this. No, the jerking only happens on two first gears. With and without the JB4 active, with and without the DSC active.

The fuel I was running was the Shell Racing 100 we've got here in Europe.

Can you capture the issue with a 1 to 3rd gear pull?

Absolutely, will need some time though.

What about the runs I posted? Is there anything concering about them?

Nothing stands out to me as a clear cause for jerking.

You would probably be better served by an intercooler upgrade. You IATs climb significantly over a single gear pull. They would be even worse with a multi gear pull. Likely to the extent that the dme would begin to pull performance.

Your timing is a bit rough. Do you have anything that can improve your octane? Higher octane pump? E85?
