New HPFP pump from Spool Performance / E85?
 

Is this pump (either FX-150 or the FX-180) what's needed to be able to run full E85?

They claim 50% and 80% MORE flow from the HPFP and drop-in compatibility.

I've only seen E50..

Are you talking at the pump? I have an E85 pump around the corner here in CA which is listed as "guaranteed minimum 70% ethanol". Pretty sure I'm not the only one. Would love to be able to just fill up with that, rather than trying to guesstimate how much E85 I have left in the tank, get >= E30 (to run map3), but not get more than E50 and HPFP pressure crash..

Of course, if they were offering E30, E50, E85 pre-mixed, that wouldn't be so bad :-)

Not sure what you mean - via ethanol sensor? If you fill up with only E85, guaranteed to be 70% minimum ethanol, I would imagine that would be E70?

Terry has definitely said too much E85 will cause hpfp pressure crash - we need a bigger one for full E85. I was wondering if this was it..

Yes ive only seen someone using the new HPFP with up to e50 on the sensor.
