Ram did it again, setting a new record with his M5 setup running a custom PURE turbo kit, JB4, MB back end flash map, BMS WMI kit, etc, etc. Can't wait to see thing thing tear up the 1/2 mile! :drinking:

Is that curve with pedal down? Holly batman turbo lag, obviously a lot bigger than stock! Congrats to a collaborative effort in getting those numbers! The car with half that WHP is awesome, twice that, and torque.. :-o

Yes it's like a single turbo N54.. Except, there are 2 of them. And the engine is only 4L so it's got 2L lag. 4000rpm spool up on a no load dynojet is actually better than I expected for this car. :)

I always use 500wtq as a reference; what rpm does that happen at, and then when does peak tq? So 500 @ 3700 is great, and 1000 @ 4600!? Thats one hell of a ride

Built engine... rods would be flying out at 4000 rpm otherwise!

BEF = Back end flash

Curve is misleading because the car has as much torque as a stock M5 around 3.5K RPM... it’s on boost so very driveable. You can’t compare peak torque to stock as that will never occur at the same RPM and be 2x the value! Overall happy with the spool characteristics. We may go with a slightly bigger housing to keep that top end flatter (or reduce boost...)

That curve reminds me of my KKK K29 1994 Porsche 964 large turbo upgrade lag where boost kicked in starting at 4k rpm ....although with much less power!
