Engine cylinder #5 fuel injection switched off??? (misfire) - N55 F32
Hey folks,
I have a 435xi with only 2 modifications: aftermarket intercooler, oil catch can, and intake. The issue started a couple weeks back. I changed the spark plugs and ignition coils which helped some what but I'm still having misfire issues. My next step was to change all the fuel injectors but I wanted to post here first to see what people think. 102001 - Air volume, plausibility: Air volume too high. 102002 - Air volume, plausibility: Air volume too low. 108F01 - Intake plenum: Suspicion of leaks between exhaust turbocharger and intake valves. 118002 - Mixture control: Fuel-air mixture too rich. 120308 - Charging pressure control, plausibility Pressure too low. 140001 - Combustion misfires, several cylinders: Fuel injection is switched off. 140002 - Combustion misfires, several cylinders: Damaging exhaust gas after starting up. 140010 - Combustion misfires, several cylinders: detected. 140501 - Combustion misfire, cylinder 5: Fuel injection is switched off. 140502 - Combustion misfire, cylinder 5: Damaging exhaust gas after starting up. 140510 - Combustion misfire, cylinder 5: detected. 150502 - Ignition, cylinder 5: Combustion period too short. |
Which intake did you install? Have you tried putting the stock intake back on? could be unrelated but if there is an intake leak, that may be some if not all of your issue.
