But lets go the other way... 8 gallons is close to 6, so lets do that. Now you are running about a e48 which is no bueno. I guess it's all ballpark, but i'd rather control what I can, to ensure the stock fuel system stays in check, especially with the heat we are experiencing. |
The ECU is highly adaptive with it's full time closed loop fuel control so you don't need to be overly precise in the mixture.

I don't have any OCC installed right now, but is this what you are looking for? https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=...Va20nQsaF1FgCN Happy to do more research on my own to get you the info you need, but I am not very mechanically inclined, so you might have to lead this horse right into the water :) |

Hi Terry,
Could you review these logs? They're my first hits on Map3. On the 04_38 log, should I be concerned about the boost and throttle drop when it shifted? It felt like a really lazy shift, never does that on Map2. I was running 4gal of E85 mixed with 93, 103 degrees outside. THanks! |

I’ll see if I can get some buzz around this in the Stinger forum to see if anyone out your way would volunteer. Thanks again for all you do! |

Oops. Will upload new ones later.

Just finished installing it all, New plugs gapped to .022, JB4 + fuel control wires, and the Fuel-It E85 Sensor.
Did a short run on Map1 then Map3 does anything seem out of sorts? Car felt good no breaking up that I recall noticing. My only question is on the Fuel-It sensor. It seems to be registering with the JB4 as the E85 gauge populates data, but in the Fuel-It install guide it mentioned the following Quote:
Is there anything else I need to do for the JB4 to make use of the ethanol sensor data? Just before the pulls for these logs I was at ~ 1/2 a tank of gas, I put in ~5 Gallons of E85 then topped the rest off with 93. Also not sure if these logs are long enough. It was just a shake down run and I didn't have a lot of road to work with. |
Think I found the settings for the Fuel it Sensor looks like they are under WMI

I don't recall reading from anyone else running the Fuel-It sensor so I'm not sure if this is expected.
But when I pull up the Fuel-It App its giving me a reading of E30 - E34. As I understand it thats ~30 to 34 % ethanol. But the E85 meter in the JB4 app is reading ~ 15. In settings > WMI, I set "Signal Scaling (0-100)" to 100 and turned on the slider for "bit1:JB4 15/16 FlexFuel Input" I have the Fuel-It Sensor's white wire connected to pin 16 on the JB4. Have I not setup something correctly for the sensor in the JB4 settings? I also was able to do a brief run on map 5 that I've attached the logs to, car seemed happy but I'd appreciate an experienced look for anything that looks troubling. |

Most likely you need to turn 15/16 off and turn on 2/3 which may then reflect the correct values. But you should email Terry for support. I encountered a similar issue but I also have a WMI kit where the pin in the directions wasn’t available due to the WMI FSB. |
