Log Review: FOB, Pure S2 hi-flows
4 Attachment(s)
Hi All,
Just recently installed pure stage 2 hi-flows with relocated vrsf inlets 2". Looking to get the boost turned up as I just finished breaking-in my spec 3+ clutch/steel smfw. On 93 oct fuel atm. FOB with stage 2 lpfp Using PUMP JB4 BEF Map 2 for now Fuel: 93 oct pump (100 race & E85 available) I took a few baseline logs after reading the upgraded hybrid posts. I am overboosting a bit so I figured I would ask here for advice before turning it up. I've got more logs if needed but I will attach three 3rd gear runs and a bonus 2-4 gear run I got the other night. Side note: Ambient temps were ~72F, and as I suspected I am seeing an uptick in IATs with the relocated inlets even with the 335d intake scoop. Thanks for your time! Mike |
Bump because I will be in a similar situation soon and would like to see expert guidance on your logs.
To my novice eyes it looks pretty good aside from noisy cylinder 5, over-boosting at the start of a pull, and pulled timing probably due to octane deficiency. |
In general this looks solid.
A few timing corrections, but likely that’s just from utilizing 93 I think it’s safe to start introducing some e85- it’ll be a balancing act between fueling We can start with e20-30 If you want |

Back with 4 runs on ~E30. Same settings and I also reset adaptations.
Ambient temps were around 65F tonight. Looks like on the first run I had some real overboost issues, but they seemed to get better as it learned. By run 4 I was still overboosting but I didn't feel throttle closures like I felt on the first 2 runs. Thoughts? Thanks guys! -Mike |
Overall looks pretty clean- the last log being best.
Definitely some room to bump up |
Thanks Dave. Should I remain on Map 2? Also, in regards to over shooting target would I need any changes to my settings?

We can see what fueling & timing looks like. The overboosting early on in the pull, we can monitor , but that might adapt down a bit- if not we can fix with duty bias |
