I ran my JB3 with a temporary gauge yesterday and it pulled 15psi on Map 4 and 7 psi on the stock map. I am thinking about ordering Riss Racing Down *****... I want more power!

Forza, email Terry at terenceburger@gmail.com to be a potential tester for the JB+. Tell him that you live in Denver.

milehighn54, I'm also in Colorado. Where in Colorado are you? I'm in the market for a tune. Either JB3 or Procede V3. I was actually looking for someone in Colorado that might have either of these 2 tunes becaue I would like to see how much more powerful it is over stock. Do you think that you could help me out on this since you have JB3? This could be the beginning of a beautiful friendship. Haha, LOL. Please let me know if you or anyone in Colorado convince me. Thanks

Glad to see more of us in the Mile High City! It would be cool to round up a bunch of us by late spring to hit up Bandimere and/or a mountain drive which my friend and I did with his hopped up RX-8 and at least another 25 RX-8's tearing up the mountains.

I'm in Westminster. I really would like to be able to feel the power. What about a ride along with you? The only thing is that I have heard good and bad things about both. I do like JB3 mostly because of its price and outcome. I heard that JB3 works with PWM signals therefore everytime boost is increase, JB3 doesn't control timing to retard it. I know from experience that everytime you want more boost, nitrious, etc, you have to control timing to compensate. Now Shiv told me that Procede does control
timing which makes me feel a little safer. I would need some proof that I can still run JB3 on 12-13 psi without timing being retarded/advance and it still be safe for the n54 motor. Mainly, I would like to maybe go on a ride with you just to feel the improvement if it is okay with you and you are up for it. Thanks |

Sure you can come for a ride. Let me know when you want to meet up. |
Wow, really good information. Thanks milehighn54. I would love to have the opportunity to go on a ride with you. Just let me know your schedule and when you are available. By the way, my name is Vincent. Nice to meet you. Hopefully, we can get everyone together and cruise the Rocky Mountains. Looks forward to meeting you. Thanks for all your help.

Stapelton is fine. My e-mail is hoaiss2000@yahoo.com. My name is Vincent. Sorry, I didn't mean it like that. What I meant is that is JB3 is as amazing (over stock) as everyone says it is, then I'm basically sold. I just want to get a general feel of how its like. I think that the car is already amazing as it sits but we know it could do better. I just want to see what alittle box can do. I use to have a turbo Ecplise and I spend easily 5k just in uprades with the turbo, exhaust, intercooler, etc. and it did pretty good. If I did end up getting JB3, it would probably be the cheapest mod I have ever bought. Thanks

Hey, what time are you guys meeting and what specific location. Maybe I will come take a look at your cars too.

We are meeting up at Stapelton. Most like the mall shops around there but I'm not sure. When he e-mails me back, I will let you know.

Hey Matt and Vincent, we might as well make it a little 335 mile high chapter meet. If so, my 2 close friends will also show up with their 335's. Hey racey, wanna join? There is a large Sam's Club parking lot a couple of blocks east of Quebec on 35th Ave. From I-70, exit and turn right/south on Quebec. In about 0.50 miles turn left/east on 35th Ave., then Sam's club will be on your left/north hand side a couple blocks east of Quebec on 35th Ave. How about 11:30am on Saturday? Anyone else that wants to join is more than welcome, and Vincent, as I promised you at the very least can ride in my e92 JB3 335xi.
Cyril (yes it's a screwed up name...) |
So it's gong to be the Sams Club on Quebec? Sounds good. 11:30 might look good. One problem, I have and oil change appointment at Ralph Schomp BMW for and oil change at 9:00. Hopefully they get done and I can head straight down and meet you guys up. Bring evryone you can, like what you said, make it a mile high chapter and evryone can just hang out and chat. It will be fun! Can't wait!

|
Hey Forza1976 and Racey, are you guys gonna meet up with us? I got 2 other friends of mine coming.
|
Hmm, I am probably going to be doing some work on my 5-series (I installed a water pump last weekend that didn't seem to do the job). Not sure I will make it up this weekend.
|
Just go! Hang out for a little bit. Meet everyone and then go back home and work on your 5 series. Why did you put a water pump is it for? Maybe I offer some mechanical suggestions?
|
There will probably only be less than a hand full of us...oh well. Vincent and anyone else that can make it, I'll meet you in the Southwest corner of the Sam's Club parking lot at 11:30 on Saturday morning.
|
Hey raceyBMW, congratulations on winning the BMS Single Cone Air Intake! Matt and Vincent, it was nice to meet you guys yesterday and thanks for coming out to Stapleton. Matt, you have anxious to clean my engine and make it look at least half as good as yours. Tim and I went to Murray after lunch to test drive the new M3 and 135i. The M3 engine does sound awesome!
