Hi Terry

been over a year since I logged this car, but recently started up again.

I noticed that the car could not perform to the same level as a year ago so i went back to my earlier logs for comparison. I have included a log from late 2016 under the old software and a new log using the new software.

the boost is significantly lower even though wgdc and ff are about double what they were in 2016. 2018 file shows very close to target while 2016 is way off. Also bank to bank was pretty tight, but no longer.

i see a few differences in the parameters. the only one i don't know is DWP. What is this? could the new version of the JB software be doing anything to cause this?

The log looks pretty good to me, I do see boost difference though. The updated log looks better IMO.

I recently installed the latest JB4 and upgraded the firmware. Attached are logs from recent drives. How does it look? I am getting infrequent codes about cylinder 7 & 8 misfire with injector switched off. I didn't notice any degradation in performance during the three runs attached.

'13 550i w/BMS JB4 stage 1 and Dinan exhaust.

Are the fuel pressure wires attached?

The only connections I've made are the two (2) TMAP sensors. I haven't installed the fuel or BCM wires.

Thanks for the assistance, I'm new to the forum and its nice to know that BMS supports their product.

The fuel wires would help get trims and AFR down, if that is the tuning objective. :)
