N20 Engine Fear
 

I purchased a 2015 X3 xDrive 28i yesterday. I had read a bit about the timing chain issue in the N20 but assumed I was safe by purchasing the 2015. I took a look at the timing chain guide this morning and it looks I still have the orange/brownish colored one and not the newer updated part. I checked my date of manufacture and it’s 2/2015.

Timing chain is still tight and there’s no shiny marks or anything in it but I’m worrying that I just made a huge mistake purchasing the car. How much of a timebomb am I sitting on here?https://9apps.ooo/
