Ethanol question.
So I can get 93 here in OKC, but only at a few places and it's way more expensive than 91. So, I generally mix E85 with 100% 91. I have a 12 gallon tank, so 2 gallons of E85 mixed with 10 gallons of 100% 91 nets me Roughly 93.3 octane and 14% ethanol.
Our E85 currently is testing about E70, though. So the same mix nets me 92.3 octane and 12% ethanol. My question is, does the JB4 adjust for different octanes/ethanol content on its own, or is this something that will be added in the future with a new map? |
We will be adding E85 detection and auto tuning in the future, but for now mixtures of 20-30% should be fine. Precision isn't that critical with it. Maybe 4 gallons E85 rest pump, for example.
