Been a long time coming but going into 2020 we made an internal deal to start opening up to some of these other markets that we have so long ignored, yet find much more lucrative, than the N54 market that we have been focused on nearly entirely since 2010. So now enter the RB Twos for your S55 engine powered M2, M3, and M4.

A bit about this RB S55 offering is that they are not designed to be the end all be all setup, and we know 100% are not going to take down the competitions peak numbers, and this is 100% not our concern. These were designed to be the perfect all around setup, the jack of all trades if you will, for the customer who wants considerably more but really doesn't want to deal with all of the headaches that may come with going too crazy modifying engines too far beyond their potential.

The big thing with these is that we really needed to make a custom spec'd turbine wheel, to allow for a perfect fitment into these S55 turbine housings, as such this is NOT a TD04L or TD04HL as neither fits the housing properly. This custom turbine wheel is somewhere in between those wheel sizes however is closer in size to the TD04L than the TD04HL, thus making them a better fit to be our S55 RB Twos. We have provided pictures of the turbine wheel to housing relationships (something seldom to never done in this industry), which clearly illustrates that our combination of parts are actually custom designed for one another thus matching to perfection.

At some point later we will make a S55 RB Twos Plus, that will entail another custom larger (closer to TD04HL sizing) turbine that will likely create much more lag and it may not be for everyone, unfortunately this is always the trade off for bigger power. It also will use a considerably larger compressor that will certainly not work with the OE front plastic inlet anymore, so we will have to do something entirely custom for that. No big deal there as we've had solutions dreamt up for it for years now, but this is where we are starting out and we really like how it all came together.

All in all this setup has been designed to make what most people are going to want, authentic OE quality and hand built in the USA with premium top tier balancing equipment (CHRA dynamic balancing to 0.1g levels up to 170,000rpm), 100+whp power potential yet retain as close to OE turbo transient response as possible, complete and packaged with port matched inlets, all at an insanely great price that is really going to shake up this platform.

We spent a lot of time diligently customizing, machining, and building these units; and we expect one hell of a solid all around setup. Here are some more pics for you all to enjoy.

Based upon experience over the past 15+ years working with hybrid turbochargers, is that we would say these could run 700+whp at the big boosted ragged edge. Thanks sir and couldn't agree more!! These builds completely exceeded my expectations, and am very happy with all of the fit and finish on them, and can't wait for some results to start coming in now.

Initially they will be a bit difficult to sink in to this very dominated market, but eventually they are going to take hold and be the "go-to" for many IMO.

Just wanted to give a little Friday bump to inform that we shipped another set of these out after a long wait on the prototype setup, and while doing so machined a few more sets of these that can be built as well. While only 1 set has been in the field, it has experienced not a single issue for well over a year now (and 5,000+ very hard miles with many 28+psi passes). A prior N54 customer (who was happy with our products) placed an order which pushed us into finish the machining on our batch of cores, but there are only 3-4 sets available to build at this time.
