N63tu Engine questions (BMW 2015 550i)
 

I'm about to sign the paperwork on a '15 550i with 48k miles. It's CPO - no major repairs listed of any sort.

I've read some concerns about the engine, but it seems like this was fixed (or at least improved) in 12/13. But there are still some posts saying it was too little late?

What is the verdict here on the updated engine?appvalley tutuapp tweakbox

It’s better, but it still uses quite a bit of oil. And the timing chain guides are still garbage.
