b48 125i jb4 issues
 

Hello guys

I have a f20 125i with b48b20b engine. I installed jb4 and i have some problems;

I used to own turbocharged hondas and we used to kept our afr under boost like 11.5 12. But in this car in the wot runs i always see values close to 14.7 till redline. I know this engine is a direct injected engine and designed to run a little lean but i am not feeling comfortable :) what do you think ?

My second problem, in the map2 when making wot runs, when i pushed the accelerator, it feels like there is a bump in the acceleration, it is not smooth.

I took some datalogs ( map 0 map1 and map2 ), would you please have a look to them ?

Put all your user adjustment settings back to the default values and do another set of logs. Those settings are incorrect...here's the link for the default settings.

Today i changed the settings and made couple of logs in map1. But it seems afr values are again locked at 14.6 14.7 and also when i first press the accelerator i am feeling a sudden bump for a short while.

Is your traction control all the way off? I'm not seeing any real issues here.

Yes it is completely off, so you are saying those afr values are not on the lean side ?

The DME determines the AFR's and yes, they do run lean from the factory. But you're not running very much boost and you don't have any timing corrections....looks normal. ;)

Ok I understand so I think I can try map2 and map3, I am using 98 octane(ron) here.

Upload a log on map 2 and then we'll go from there.

Map 3 looks pretty good. Trims are pretty high so don't add any ethanol.
