Log review and adjustment necessary?
|
I lol post a new log just realized it was a group log
|
Go back to default duty bias and upload another log. It's incredibly low.
|
What turbo is on the car....I'm assuming it's upgraded? If so, here's the hybrid turbo setup guide...

Stock turbo I realized duty was set at 30 I changed it to 50 I’ll do a couple logs on way home from work

I tried to turn off group logging but it went back on but it’s the 3rd gear pull at the end
|
Nice...the stock turbo usually maxes out WGDC up top at about 11psi or so.
I'd recommend doing something like this and see how the log looks. https://imagizer.imageshack.com/v2/8...924/rmbRJW.jpg |
Okay just changed all to recommend settings will post another log soon thank you

3rd gear pull

Odd...that made no change. Almost as if the wastegate is sticking and you are just running "all the boost" which makes more sense as to why WGDC is so low. How about doing a log on map 4 so we can see what that looks like.

Another map 5

Honestly, that log looks okay but regardless of map 4 or map 5, you maintain the same boost curve just less intensity on map 4 when the JB4 is in bypass.
This is the BMS BEF you're running? |
Yes it’s the pwg2-e85 back end flash downloaded from the bef thread on here
|
I would have liked to keep the jb4 and bef but feels like I get more power running a stg2+ Ots flash
|
It's possible the 2+ map has higher boost or timing targets.
I believe the 2+ map is intended for those with an upgraded hpfp. I would take a close look at your hpfp values to make sure they are holding. Do you know what the boost targets are from the 2+ map? It looks like your current set up could handle some more boost. So you could set a map 6 to mirror the targets from the 2+ map and run a couple logs and post here. If all is well you may be able to go a bit higher than that, but won't know until you run some logs. |
I’m not sure what the targets are and stg2+ does not require upgraded hpfp unless running full 85
I also had JB4 taget to 19psi highest I’ve seen from my MHD gauge target13-15psi |
Ahh right. I think its the bm3 2+ that needs the hpfp.
I think you can certainly run more boost. Fueling and timing seem fine. Have you not taken any logs with the 2+ map? Have you figured out your wastegate issue? That seems to be the only hold up as I see it. |
I have a couple I posted one here a while ago in a different thread but got told they don’t read data zap files here
I will post a map 6 log after work today Also I don’t believe I have a wastegate issue every thing is fine |

Short 3rd gear log map 6
|
Got to wait for a dry day to get a good log it’s wet out here in wa
|
But as far as a bef which one should I be using? all 3 work running around e40 so I’m flashing e85 flashes I just switched to pwg3 as it’s the latest updated one
|
You would use the BMS E85 flash if running E40.
|
Yes I get that but there is pwg1, 2 and 3 for the 85 maps and each one will flash to my car which one would you recommend? My logs were with pwg2-85 bef
|
I believe the different numbered maps will correspond with different dme versions. It shouldn't let you flash the incorrect map. If pwg e85 2 is working for you, then you should have the right one. Version 2 is supposedly what most cars will take.
