Steering wheel control 6-1 not working?
 

On my wife's 09 335I, I had the max cool activated and it seemed to be working fine until yesterday. Fan and water pump both are working, but they doesn't spin up like it use too previously. Coolant temps seem to be staying in the 215-220 range. Any ideas on what or why this could be occurring? WP and thermostat along with all the hoses in that area have been replaced less than 500 miles ago while replacing turbos.

Did you recently update firmware and if so, which one are you running? Have you tried turning it off and back on?

Steve, when you go under settings in the app, it says firmware version 32/15//2. When under firmware update the local firmware file is G5_ISO_32_15_T1.hex.

I have tried to turn it on under maps 0,1,4,and 5 and when I go back through the steering wheel menu it shows that it is turned on.

One thing that I have noticed, is when I go under user adjustment settings, the fuel bias and duty bias are all zeros. The other areas all have some sort of values in them.

I am not tech savvy, just trying to learn more about this.

Okay, that all sounds normal, can you upload a log so I can see your settings etc.?

Okay...doesn't appear to be corrupted firmware. I'm not sure why it's not turning on, kind of odd, curious if it will turn on if water and oil temps rise.

It is turning on now when temps rise or the A/C is switched on.
