Question on JB4 Map 5 on S55
 

Hi guys,

Id appreciate if I could get some help here. Im trying to figure out if the Linear torque Map 5 on the JB4 is based on additive boost or on absolute boost pressure? I know the maps 1 and 2 are additive but cant find the answer for map 5.

Hello Steve. I already know that, but why should I have to run stock map, take a log, then run map 5 and take a log and find out if the difference between the two maps is additive or not when you can clearly give me the answer in one word. If there was no forum and no support id find out myself but im banking on the fact that the product I purchased has good support.

Also I dont have the JB4 on the vehicle yet its still in transit with the courier and I also wont be able to install it until im back in the country and the break in miles are over, so im hoping you could spare me some time here.

Because it can vary based on firmware etc and the minute I give a firm value, (which I don't have) somebody will comeback later with a similar reply to yours complaining the value I gave was wrong and reference this thread.
