BMS retakes worlds fastest N54 record! -
01-09-2010, 04:20 PM
Well, we actually already had it. But the turbo only one. Just got a text from Warren up at Sac, he went 124mph with his 2.5" downpipes and methanol kit. Using JB3 1.4. Hauling ass!
Brian had some nice times too on a 25 shot, 11.35@127.9.
Congrats to both, it was a great day for the N54 and the JB3!

Lots of weight reduction, auto, drag radials, race gas, and not sure on map. Probably 11?

Aside from wheels and removal of the passenger seat, rear seat, where else are others finding areas to lose weight. And how much are they honestly seeing in terms of reduction. Just curious?

Passenger seat is the main thing, and a light weight battery. Lot of weight in the exhaust too... hopefully he does that next.

These cars are amazing. Terralynn is driving...newborn is in the back...and we are cruising I5 averaging 29mpg traveling at 80. Traveling in absolute quiet luxury! It so funny seeing some of the trailered cars there only trapping 113mph...Lol

Unlike Brians 135, My traction was pathetic....with some 2.3s. I get better 60' times on the road...in my regular testing. Also runs 11's easier on the road

Nice times. I am now amazed at what the N54 motor is capable of with just little mods.

Hey Warren, congrats! I'm installing the CMGS-FS system next week + 2.0 beta and stock FTW. Were you running the basic kit w/ the single nozzle still?
18 ohm board 1.4 or 2.0 beta? What map?
Imagine what you could do with traction! JB FTMFW.

By chance did you have the vbox on during some of your runs to test its' readings against the time slips?
