This engine built for race gas,30 psi boost + 200 shot nos and 8000rpm

That was a shakedown pass with pump gas at 13.4 psi 7000rpm as written in the video

I think that car will get much much faster when really pushed. Read what I posted!

13.4psi on pump gas short shifting by 1000rpms w no NOS.

Put it up to 30psi on race gas w a 200hp NOS shot and well.......I just dont know what it would do if it could hook. Fly maybe?


look at the data. it did 100-150mph in 4.8 seconds once it hooked, holy crap! That will probably be in the 3's once its balls to the wall.

For 6 cylinder turbos, the Grand Nationals are getting pretty quick too.
The world renown Turbo Engine Builder/Duttweiler performance is just minutes from my house. I believe he has gotten 1700HP out of the Buick V6, and yes, that is without nitrous. Not bad for a 6 cylinder.

I have to get my Grand National running again. These cars revolutionized modern fuel injection turbo performance set up. Seriously 22yrs ago, what car engine domestic/foreign combined so many modern elements in one package? Turbocharged, intercooled, Crank triggered multi coil ignition, piezo knock sensors, MAF, Cam Sensor, Sequential Fuel Injection. This was almost unheard of back in 1984.
