Will you be doing a straight 91oct + meth/alky dyno soon so people who only have 91 will be able to see what is realistic day to day? It doesn't have to be 18 psi per se, just want see the benefits of meth on say map7.

Thanks!
Throw some 100 octane in there and see for yourself what meth would be like!

Though I'd never go this route, it's good to see the stock snails can handle it. How many miles do you have on this system?

Probably going to have to wait a few months before temps come down for that. But I've got my eye on mid 11s.

Was there any specific reason you moved it closer to the intercooler from where you originally were?

I thought you went back to stock DVs? It looks from the picture of the nozzle you're on Forge DVs with that hose.. Was that your answer to the hose popping off on the high HP dyno pulls?

I went back to the forge a couple months ago. Never had an issue with hoses popping off, but there still is some mystery pressure drop off at very high boost levels. At 18-19psi doesn't seem to be an issue though.

To give the alky more time to evaporate before combustion.

Hey Terry,

Please keep us updated, that a spot that I was looking at for the install. But I don't have a Vbox to validate.

Thanks,

Did some BT logging and it seemed to be fine.. although at the higher boost levels I'm testing at now I need a larger nozzle. Was seeing timing drop as low as 4 degrees on 91 octane, at around 17psi. Using a 6GPH nozzle now. Will be raising pump pressure up, and then trying a 9GPH nozzle as soon as it arrives.

Do you mean the timing dropped a lot to a low 4 degrees (meaning bad?),
or that the timing drop was "only" 4 degrees (meaning good?)

It dropped as low as 4 degrees @ 5500rpm, which would be around 5 degrees lower than I see on VP109! So bad.. but I think more meth will fix it up.

I assume this information applies to the nozzle hose mounting location pictured above.
How does this advance curve compare with the previous "sound box" mounting location?
There does not seem to be much distance between the injection point and the
opposite side of the elbow. I would suggest relocating the nozzle in the elbow
such that it sprays directly downstream, so as to minimize any chance for wall impingement. Just my 2 cents.
