JB4 Interface: Latest Interface Download. When updating an old interface you may need to first go to "add remove programs" and "remove" your previous JB4 interface.

If you need directions on how to connect a laptop to your JB4 to update firmware or how to datalog Click here.

JB4_S55 Map Guide:

Map 0: Disable JB4 / Full Pass Through Mode
Map 1: Stage1 map adding approximately 40whp and 40wtq across the power band on pump gas. Suitable for all stages and fuel mixtures.
Map 2: Slightly more aggressive version of map 1 intended for vehicles with bolt on modifications and 93+ octane fuel. Can also be used with E85 and racing fuel mixtures. Fuel pressure connector suggested.
Map 3: Slightly less aggressive version of map 1 intended for vehicles running on lower grade fuels such as 91 octane.
Map 4: OEM performance but with JB4 active for datalogging only.
Map 5: //M low torque additive map.
Map 6: User defined map generally only used for diagnostics or troubleshooting.
Map 7: Race gas map. Requires 100 octane unleaded fuel and for the fuel mass connector to be installed. Can be used with or without the EWG connectors but will make more power with the EWG connectors installed. This map can also be used with up to 35% E85 but in some vehicles & conditions this may cause a high fuel pressure drop and resulting stuttering. If this occurs drop down to map 2.
Map 8: WMI map. Requires FSB controller for progressive mapping and safety systems. For pump gas a meth additive of 30-40 is suggested while for race gas/E85 + meth up to a 75 additive can be used. The higher the meth additive the more aggressive the boost curve. A meth additive of 60 would be roughly equivalent to map 7.

Note: map8 changes its curved based on your boost safety setting.

Setting of 30psi or less: Map8 targets a peak of 27psi with a 75 additive tapering towards redline. This setting is intended for OEM turbos.

Setting of more than 30psi: Map8 targets a peak of 32psi with a 75 additive with no taper to redline. This setting is intended for larger than OEM turbos like PURE S2 Turbos.

E85 Mixtures:

We've done limited testing with E85 mixtures and found that the platform seems to be largely tolerant to up to 4-5 gallons of E85 per full tank of pump gas. Higher mixtures normally result in fuel trims maxing out and engine stuttering or misfiring. Raising "open loop" from the default value of 60 to 70 can help allow a bit more power on E85 but may also increase the likelihood of a "fuel pressure too low" fault code. We suggest map 2 for E85 mixtures as it offers the best all around compromise of power and reliability with it. The Stage3 fuel connector is required for any E85 mixture.

Basic overview of the wheel controls:

Install video of full Stage3 using OBDII CANbus connector:

Current dash settings as of OBDII v1.1 firmware:

Toggle between flap open, flap closed, and OEM operation, by pressing the button for 2 seconds and letting go. The left blinker will flash for valve open, right blinker for valve closed, and both blinkers for OEM operation. The valve setting is persistent and will remain in effect until you change it. If you hold the button too long you'll jump in to the in dash menu system below.

Firmware Updates:

JB4_M3_OBDII_1_7:

1) Changes to improve Fuel-IT Port Injection integration
2) Enabled WMI ethanol bits for PWM controllable WMI and hard wired ethanol sensors.

If installing an optional BMS data cable or bluetooth kit refer to the photo below for where it connects. The bluetooth kit red/blue power wire attaches to the JB4 red wire going to the TMAP connector and DOES NOT attach to the battery rail.

Sexy, i'm a little jealous! I really like the sort charge pipe plumbing, and I'm hoping it'll be simple to add a larger or secondary radiator to the A/W charge cooler.

Only tuning is planned on our end but who knows what the future holds. I'm sure this car will attract plenty of attention from the entire community.

With some fine tuning, meth and racegas. I can see this car making 550whp or so. Congrats again Terry, can't wait to see it in person at the dyno!

Went for a drive this morning and it feels pretty solid. I need to burn off this dealer gas so I can get some known good fuel in it before dyno testing it.

Don't have any diagnostics equipment on the car yet but did plug in a scan gauge and it was showing around 21psi of boost up top and 2-3 degrees advance. If these turbos flow similar to RBs that could put power in the 475whp range stock. Can't wait to find out.
