Hi all. This is my first time posting and had some time to run my car 09 BMW 335xi on the dyno at PandL motorsports in Franklin Park,IL on a dynojet. I did 4 runs on map 5 with a 30/70 e85/93 mix and did peak 390 awhp and 467lbs/tq let me know what you guys think. Runs were done in 3rd and 4th gear.
Car is FBO with ar ******* downpipes, BMS DCI, and AMS FMIC.
Also I have not seen many xi dynos does anyone else have dyno numbers with similar mods?

Not bad. I think it has quite a bit more in it with the recent changes.

Yeah I know. I can really feel the difference with the new changes and will try to get a dyno run from how we have it set now and would like to get it compared with a cobb only flash by a local tuner sometime early next year to compare different tunes. I think as the car sits right now its over 400 AWHP and closer to 500 lbs/tq.
Terry, again I cannot say how great the support and service you have given me amongst the 20-30 emails that you have replied to for tuning expertise.
And as always if there are any new tweaks you want me to test out just shoot me an email.

I am the new owner of an 08 335xi sedan. I'm just a noob....have the BMS DCI and just installed JB4 G5 ISO setup yesterday.
I'm currently running map 1. Very curious what my power #'s are. Any educated guesses/estimates?
That is just incredible power. My boss road in my car the other day and couldn't believe how fast it is....thought it was just a little sedan. lol

Do you have the G5 ISO? Awesome numbers for an xi and seems pretty accurate with the mods you have. I'm hoping to head to a dyno soon and break 400awhp.
Edit: Just saw you do have ISO so never mind

No meth yet i'm FBO minus meth. Only thing I have that you don't is the charge pipe and MT. How many gallons of E85 did you put in for this dyno? In the winter I usually run around 6 which is probably what i'll run. I'm just still working out doing some logs and trying to figure out if I want to dyno on the ISO or my old G4 15ohm

Sorry must have misread your sig. This mix was around 3 gallons of e85 and the rest 93. This was the highest mix I could run since my trims were getting maxed out before adding the walbro e85 pump. I wish I did some Dyno pulls as the car sits right now on map 7. Probably going back to the Dyno next year and compare with the higher mix of e85 and the tweaks that terry has been working on. |

You're running map 7 on E85 with the ISO? I thought that was strictly a race gas map since it targeted 18.5 psi?

Oh that makes sense. It would definitely be interesting to see the additional power when he heads back to the dyno. One of these days I might do the flash and Walbro pump

We have pretty much the same car (09 xi auto coupe) and mods (jb4 DCI Cpe DP and meth kit which is not added yet). If I could find a dyno that could facilitate AWD, I'd love to compare. No luck finding one in the Indianapolis area which reall surprised me. Not quite up for a drive to Chicago yet to run my numbers. Anyone in Indy know of one?

Exterior Mods: Gloss black kidney grills/ Paint matched reflectors/ LED Angel Eyes
Best 1/4 ET: 12.8 @88 mph (Car was having misfiring and injector issues found after that run. The car was FBO JB4 G4 with 3 gallons of e85. Had 3 injectors and all plugs replaced and running great now.Waiting for next year hopefully in the 11's)
