Are the rear brake pads supposed to have clips on the back? ('07 E92)

I'm about to change my pads and the rears I got off of Amazon don't have a spring/clip/whatever on the back. They also didn't come in the manufacture's packaging and have wear from either the poor packaging or use (pad side looks OK though).

Looked at a couple DIYs and their rears had the spring clips. I just wanted to make sure that I know what I am talking about before I start to yell at people.

The rear pads should have two pads with clips on the back that go in on the piston side of the caliper. the other two will not have clips on the back that will on the outside.

OK, that's what I have. That's different from the front, right? All four of those pads have clips of some sort.

Then you have the correct pads.
