Nice work! If you dont have any plans with the turbine housing portion in the first pic let me know i'd buy it from you. From a flow perspective the manifold is likely inline with the cylinder head itself.

I plan on v-banding the turbine housing, which will then go on my b5 a4. I posted these pics in hopes some how assist with motivation for the n55 guys out there pushing the limits lol... With the housing being divided the merge collector for the three exhaust runners is very small and a restricted flow, leaving me to believe that is a limiting factor. But I am no engineer, If this turbo had a manifold with a nice collector and was done with larger primary tubes it would be more efficient, But I would like to think this turbo is near it's limit so building a manifold for this turbo would be a waste of time in my opinion, but maybe someone will prove me wrong.

dirtygerman,
Did you ever make use of that turbine housing? I would like to start back on this program but could use that part to help out the R&D...

So pumped for this... definitely subscribed for updates! Hopefully the N55s will be able to throw down similar numbers or even surpass their older brethren (N54s)

An upgrade will definitely be made available. The only thing to hope for is the amount of work that I can actually do, making the gains more and more apparent.

I agree! Should have a prototype by month end- then a Guinnea pig willing to do a lil trailblazing for the n55 crowd.

Any specifics you look for in your pigs? AT/MT? Location? I know I and multiple others would definitely fight for this honor

Prefer a RWD car and the biggest thing is just someone who is highly motivated to install and tune and get on the dyno and has some tuning know how or capabilities to help speed the process (or is in very close proximity to a tuner like Terry).
