Helix is proud to be the sole distributor or AWE's newest addition to their product line. The new AWE Forged Diverter Valve will be the best of both worlds as it can act as both a high quality diverter valve as well as a top of the line blow off valve. Incorporated into this new design is a diaphragm valve which is maintenance free and cannot get stuck open or closed as piston based valves are prone to do. Another advantage is that a diaphragm valve will typically open at a lower vacuum pressure where a piston valve setup could surge slightly under the same conditions.There are no disadvantages to a proper diaphragm design valve. Additionally, when the diverter valves are set to blow air into the atmosphere (blow off valve) the kit includes two filters which will help keep your engine bay clean as well as make sure debris doesn't get sucked into the valve.
