Default Pure Stage 2 N54 NFZ results - 11-07-2016, 10:31 AM

I Ran a 161.29. Had to back it down from 28psi to 25psi due to trans sticking. Was still having to lift for shifts into 4th, 5th and 6th even with power pulled out. 3rd gear was also boost limited to 23psi. I was running next to the 168mph porsche, and actually walking him but had major trans issues that pull. My first time at NFZ so lessons learned is do not hot lap a high power N54 on stock trans lol.

Should have one more vid thats pretty badass vs the 800whp ZL1. Got him by half car with my trans issues and boost limitations.

-335i auto with trans issues, of course. 161.3mph I believe.
-335i manual on flash only, 24psi I think 158 or 159?
-335i auto with fueling issues, 22psi? Not even sure.

They did well, all things considered. Anything around the 160's is fast. It really depends on how well you get off the line, your race weight, how hard you're pushing the tune, etc. For example, the BMS M5 bested 163.5mph, that's fast.

Really really great results! congrats to all!

If you look close you can see some engine bits pinging around on the track.

I was in the 6MT E90 running cobb flash only.. Boost was at 24 psi to redline, but I was only shifting around 6000 rpm due to misfire codes past 6500..

All runs were from a 40 mph roll and were consistently 157-158 with a best of 158.45 mph.

Overall, it was a good 1st event for me and I look forward to the next one..

Was just looking at the VBOX results and this was kind of fun...

Wish it recorded the distance times. Both runs were from a soft dig (we punched it after we shifted in to second)

After we get it dialed, 140+ and 170+ should be no problem.

No -Tony said the Gopro was dead for it, which sucks, because both of us wanted that vid almost more than any other runs. Top vid is def the engine blowing though...

I thought I remembered you saying you trapped like 168-169 on the race with Tony... was it close at the end? I know our trap was reported oddly slow for that run. Did you cross the finish line first? I'm light on details for that run -was hoping you had that vid. Oh well... next time!

Nope Dead Go Pro Battery.... I believe we pulled you from start to finish, and the slip said it was our slowest run of the day, you ran 168, it said we ran 154. I talked to more than one person that said that left lane was having timing issues all day, a supra that runs consistent 180+ was given 140MPH time slip twice in a row in the left lane. Switched the right, and traps were back to reading correctly. Either way it was fun, just wish we had the correct trap for that pass, and the video...

The Z06 is impressive. Considering what it did and it's modifications (basically none), it's a real beast.

Nice job. Good traps for cars having issues and lowering boost.

Here's how I did -

2016 M4 ZCP - JB4, Map 8, 100% Meth, 60 Additive, ESS-Tuning **'s, Nitto Nt555R 20" Drag Radials.

Some vids -

Against the C7 Z06 50 roll, fun race, I probably should have started in 3rd, oh well, so glad to see Ando back out there doing his thing!

Against the R8 V10 Plus from a dig

Against a Tuned, FBO F10 M5, very cool owner, I think this race would be dead even, he lost some traction at the hit.

Jimmy's AA Stg 3 E92 M3, 600+whp, always impressive. I helped design the fuel system on this beast, I was happy I stayed with him until the end, I had a feeling up top he'd start to do what he did. Fun run as well.

16 F82 M4 ZCP - DCT - JB4 - Meth - 1/2 Mile 161MPH
08 E92 M3 - DCT - Built Motor - ESS VT3-750 SC
710 WHP/495 WTQ STD CF @ 14.4psi
6.1s 60-130MPH (Drag Strip)
174.12 MPH Shift-S3ctor Standing 1/2 Mile - E9X WR

Made it out for the first time in what feels like a while and had a lot of fun. Was great meeting a few faces and hanging with some friends!

My car is nothing special TBH just a Stock Turbo FBO+Inlets with E85. Best run of the day was my own personal best: 147.44mph

Doubt I will have time to unload the Gopros for a bit. Anyways here is a quick in cabin run against a 2016 Chevy Corvette Stingray:

Will be back at the next event with some changes
