Default GS6-53BZ Inputshaft modification - 09-20-2017, 06:43 AM

Hi,
I want to use the GS6-53BZ transmission for an engine swap into an E36. The adapterplate to make it fit needs the "normal" inputshaft. I could get a transmission very cheap, but it has the pilotbearing in the inputshaft. My initial idea was to swap the input shaft, but that seems like a really hard job. It would be easier to have an adapter made, which slots into the place where the pilotbearing usually goes. My only question is: Is the inputshaft length the same?
(Not my pictures)

Thanks for your help
