Is it possible to disable the gauge sweep on engine start?
It looks cheap on the new LCI black panel gauges, because the displays refresh rate is too low to make the sweep look nice.
Maybe in a future firmware, an option to disable it via the OBD menu?

Hi have 3 times ask. First question are the settings on page 1 still up to date or are there new ones? Second question I drive in Germany gasoline with 102 octane, I can thus map 2 and map 3 drive without further settings? Question three the Jb4 becomes active only when the engine is warm or?

Yes the info on the first post is up to date.
Map 2-3 should be fine for you.

Gute Morgen,

1. Das JB4 system aktiv nur wenn das Motor warm ist.
2. 100 Benzine in der Schweiz oder Deutschland ist gleich 93 Octane vom USA, deshalb Map 2 is mŲglich.

Mike says its possible. I am no expert. I just look at it in terms of performance vs risk and think your not getting much more at Map 3 than Map 2 and taking on a lot more risk of problems with a stock car.

OK, I do not understand that now. I thought map 3 is for stock cars. Why should that be risk now?

I thought from your profile you had an N55, ie different engine but I see a post where you declare ownership of an M240i.

Map3 is suitable for a stock car on good quality fuel like RON 102. Might even be OK with map5. Log it if you want us to double check.
