when running max boost The electronic wastegate can clamp shut harder and hold a little more boost pressure vs the pneumatic setup the vacuum powered actuator has a little less closing force.

Do we think the larger EWG turbine housing outlet would help a little also, a little less back pressure potential?

It still has to pass through the same size manifold ports but it's the only other physical difference.

I personally don't think there's a difference between the PWG 3.5" outlet and 4" EWG outlet. I mean a 3" pipe will support up to 800whp. A 3.5" pipe can support 36% more volume if it's 3.5" all the way back out the tail pipe. (That's a 1000hp capable exhaust!) if there is a difference I don't see it being more then 5whp. They are flowing through the same turbo fold with the same specs just one has a slightly bigger outlet...Just my .002

All the ********* tend to taper down to 3" tinker the exhaust no mater what the outlet size is.

So basically we think it's all down to the way the wastefate is controlled then.
