Exclamation I can use double fuel pump?? fuel it - 09-13-2017, 01:26 PM

i have fuel it stage 1 LPFP and stage 2 LPFP ....can i connect the two to for better performance? or connect stage 2 LPFP only?

I am not sure but I bet you could. The line pressure should be the same just volume differences. You would have to run them in parallel and maybe trigger the stage 1 add on with a hobb switch. I think thats what fuelit stage 3 does with 2 stage 2 pumps. So it would be a stage 2.5.

Lets say you went from stage 1 to 2. Could you run in parallel only kicking on the stage 1 add on for volume via hobb?

Default is just us Steves designs, but if I had both lying around i would think it could work. Totally agree dont put the smaller stage 1 add on in series with a 450 = reallllly bad idea. In parallel though, i would be interested in steves opinion.

Call it a ****ty 2.25 DIY with no warrantee, but seems like it would work.

When running pumps in parallel, it's generally suggested that they be identical pumps.

We haven't tested this for a few reasons, nor would we recommend it.
