Default Dyno Results - 2007 E92 335i Pure Stage 2 DD, VTT Double Barrel, E85 - 04-21-2018, 07:31 PM

Got a chance to dyno my 2007 E92 335i today after installing the VTT Shotgun Double Barrel last weekend. Made 634 whp and 609 ft-lbs. Had pretty major fuel pressure oscillations through the whole pull (similar to what's mentioned in another current thread) and some timing corrections toward the end of the run. Also had a cylinder 6 misfire right at the end of the second pull, so may need to adjust gaps or swap plugs now that I'm on full E85.

This is the first version of the E85 tune from Ken at Wedge, so I'm confident there's some opportunity for further optimization of the tune as well.

Overall I'm pleased. I've done every bit of mechanical work on this car myself so I was going to be pretty disappointed if it performed terribly, or worse, left parts on the dyno. Now Iíve got a good baseline for reference as I try to work the remaining issues.

That’s correct. These are the “DD”s.

Pure did help me out by porting the turbo outlets to 1.2” to provide a smooth transition to my RB silicone outlets. Not sure that results in any real world difference in power.

Loaded an updated tune from Wedge with a higher load request this morning as the prior request was being met at 4370 rpm and causing the throttle to close back. Hopefully that’ll gain me a little bit more. Car felt noticeably stronger this morning in third and fourth (boost limits are 9 and 15 in 1st and 2nd gear right now).

Still need to sort out the fuel pressure oscillations.

Now trying to decide between upgrading rear axles so I can put on drag radials, or waiting for a more complete AT and rear end solution like the 4l80e and 8.8 swap from AD-E.
