Default Where do you guys get maintenance information for your cars? - 04-07-2017, 06:21 PM

Hey everyone,
Where do you guys get torque specs and proper instructions for servicing your cars?

I mean I used to buy bently service manuals or get them online for all the proper information, but at the current moment there is no bently service manuals for the BMW m2, and very little info online.

Let me know
~Lowon

Anyone?
I can only think of asking the parts department for torque specs, but it'd be a nuisance to constantly call them for individual items on the car and tier required specs.

All Data DIY is a good source if the car is supported. Normally I just go with what feels right though. I haven't touched my torque wrench in, literally, years.

Thanks man, lol I normally go by feel too and generally can get it to the point where everything is secure, but not bolt stripping tight.

Otherwise do you have any any ideas for service guides and repairs? Like for instance wiring, fuse locations, mechanical repairs?

Thanks

Edit- just took a look at all data diy, guess they're not too into BMWs lol.

Okay, if AllData doesn't have it, and the Bentley isn't available, I have no idea. Sorry.

Lol thanks for the help man. I guess I'll contact bently see if they have one for the m2 in the works, if not I'll buy the one for the 435i since it's still an n55 motor should be relatively the same.
