Default 440i Meth Question? - 07-04-2017, 06:15 PM

Terry,

I'm seriously considering taking the leap to Meth. Currently I have the 440i MPPK with intake, **, & JB4. If I add the BMS meth kit, should I also add the (EWG) and fuel control (FF) wires to get the best results, or would I just be wasting my money?

Thanks for the input!

EWG connector suggested. No need for fuel pressure wire.

You won't regret it.

Meth adds some decent gains!

Get both sets of wires so you can at least log.

If not running meth - just jb4 + intake + exhaust = no benefits from EWG or FF connectors right?

You might benefit from the EWG wires as far as boost control and smoothness. But no HP gains with either one.

I use them both for running ethanol, smoothness/boost control and logging capability.

Thanks . that's the one i was thinking about. EWG is easy enough to add to the existing B58 JB4 harness right?

EWG is right under air intake box. Pretty easy to get to.

FF is literally the easiest connector to reach on the B58.

Be careful inserting the pins into the JB4 harness for 2 reasons. Don't want to break a pin and you don't want to put them in the wrong location the first time around.

EWG, no. FF wires, only if your trims are high or maxing out.

Just by installing either you can drive the car as before if there weren't issues beforehand. Post logs after the install in the Support sectiforfor review.
