You would have to remove your turbo and send it to them first, wait for the work to get done, and then they'll ship it back.

Saves a lot of time to just pay the core charge and get it refunded when you ship your old turbo back to them.

Dying to see meow meow ***** and another dyno. Should easily hit 500 WHP. Staggering results from this engine. I think this truly is an N54 replacement. =)

Will the pure turbo be safe to run on a standard map?

Just thinking about in the future when I trade the car in, I will want to remove the jb4.

So would I need to keep the stock turbo and refit?

You can just leave the st1 on the car if you want. It runs just fine on stock map.

No, we're basically stuck on power until we get the fueling cap removed from the DME somehow. Or switch to a port injection kit to provide more fuel than meth alone can. As it stands right now I'm happy leaving power at 475whp and we're working on other areas of B58 development.

Are you getting 475 with just pump gas? Or to get numbers like that you need to run meth?

Meth is required to safely make over 400whp.

That is PS2 level performance damn! The PS2 will almost be to the B58 what the PS1 was to the PWG N55

Do you think its more likely that the fueling cap will be removed from the dme first or do you think there is more of a chance the PI will be the way to go as of the foreseeable future?

I don't know. It's possible once the DME can be flashed we'll find the fuel pump can't keep up requiring PI anyway.

As of right now the best option to get around the cap is WMI using our stealth trunk tank. It has the added benefit of increased octane and cooling to go along with the extra fueling.

And from what I heard B58 won't be flash-able anytime soon. As it's different from the previous S55/N55 F series DME's.

Hello Terry and other members.

May I ask whether B48 shares the same turbo components with B58? As I am looking to play with my car for a long time... I will be really glad if there are plans for B48 turbo/engine internal upgrades, better intercooler and so on.

Now I already got piggyback and most blot-on modifications on the market.....but would like my car to safely run at higher boost and making around 350Hp with just good octane fuel.

Any news will be really great. thank you

Just as an update the Stage1 turbo is still running strong.
