Default Open Track days starting up at Hockenheim and The 'Ring - 01-13-2011, 03:13 PM

Hey all,

Was looking around and saw that they are starting to open the tracks for tourist driving at both Nurburgring and Hockenheim

http://www.nuerburgring.de/en/angebo...dschleife.html
Nurburgring will be open the 15th and 16th from 9AM to 5 PM and on Sunday they will have the Endurance course fully open. That means both the GP track and Nordschleife joined together for one HUGE track. Price for one lap is up by 2 euros to 24 Euros

http://www.hockenheimring.net/news/t...en-am-16012011
Hockenheim will be open from 10AM to 3PM and will only be running cars for the sessions. Luckily, prices are still teh same from last year 3 Euros to get in and 12 Euros to get on the track for a 15-20 minute session
I will be posting more stuff as i find it. Even though its a bit cold for driving, its not bad to go look

In a course this week in Graf. Sure have a nice M5, and M3 here with NEW plates. Not sure where NEW is by, but they're nice.

Any place to buy hubcentric spacers around here? Looking for 10mm's, because the 18's were to large for my wheel set up.

I have a set of 5mm's I can't do anything with because they make the wheels rub in the back. I was dissapointed since they poked the tire out just like I wanted it. The NEW plates are for the Graf area as the AS plates are for the Amberg-Sulzbach area.

You are just down the road from me. I am in Vilseck working and live 15-20 from graf. What course are you going through??

I'm currently in the CCFS course and it's like inprocessing all over again with death by Powerpoint.
I assume the bolts have to be 5mm longer as well. Did they come with bolts? If so, what color (black, crome)? And are you willing to sell. I'm running 295's in the rear, and the 18mm that they sent were way to wide, even after rolling they rubbed drastically. I'm fine without spacers and wanted to try 10s, but 5s are probaly more realisitic.

let me know if you want to get rid of them. jonathan.millet on the Unified Gal, or AKO. or a PM.

Are you running Mods, since you don't have any listed in your sig?

I got them for $30 from a guy on 1addicts and I have the extended bolts to go with them. Don't really have a need for them. I'll shoot you an email once i'm at work.

Right now i'm running AFe DCI, BT exhaust, jb4(naturally ) UUC front swaybar. Waiting are the RR Occ I just bought, Raceland DP's, and a bit more exhaust work.

Did you make it to the track today?

I was busy with the JB4 install, and the spacers.

Maybe I'm like a deaf ear trying to tune a guitar, but I can't feel no difference from the JB3, just a lot easier to know what map I'm in. Still as smooth as before, and I'm starting to think people say crazy stuff to hear themselves.
