Map 5 is made for 320i, the problem is not that power is to low, is that the power is uneven.

4 gallons? Car feels ok? Are flex fuel wires required? When I had my JB4 on my B48, it was only needed to manually modify fuel trims. Ill try out 2 gallons for now on my N20.

The 4 gallons was actually a mistake i ment to add 2 but the gas handle got tuck so i ended up adding 3.7 gallons.

I'm a little more than half way through the gas tank and i have to say that i love it. The throttle response feels faster, and inside the cabin the car sounds deeper.

I've noticed the car does feels a little rougher than usual when cold, last around 2 -3 min.

Hello Terry,

Looks like that there's new firmware update for X1/Z4 with file name N20_JB4_X1_Z4_2.hex. My JB4 was installed in 2013 with firmware name N20_X1_JB4.hex. Is it worth upgrading the firmware?

Your input is highly appreciated. Thanks!

2014+ f32, 428i

Can I on/off Active Sound on jb4mobile?

If it is only on/off on dashmenu, can I on/off on dashmenu with bluetooth connected?

Hello mid night
Am been getting the same rather disappointed logs in contrast with the 20i or 28i that i seen. The only guess is that jb4 is not suitable for our motor versions...... A log would had helped though.....

Phoebee no only via the dash control

Hi guys,

Suffering a major power loss on my N20 motor today.... AFR's hit about 17/18 on low rpm with a lightly pressed gas pedal.

I attach some logs

Is it a failing HPFP ?

Can anyone please advise?

thanks

most people will experience a 'major power loss' when they run on map 0 and partial throttle...

definitely not a boost leak, the car has ok power again compared to what happened the other day but the high AFR's concern me and I suspect a failing fuel pump?

AFR's momentarily hit 20 around 2000 rpm then get better but not as low as they should ?
