Default Turbo lag and after oill Catch can and cp install - 06-03-2018, 02:34 PM

Good night!

I recently bought a 1M, 25k miles, and the cp was broken and fixed with a tube and bracelets.
The car was running very good, without any lag with the M button on, and rising the power until 6,5k rpm.
No codes on the dme when bought.
I installed a burger OCC and a chargepipe with the tial bov, to prevent issues and allowing space for more power if I decided to, and install the CDV too.
After that, the car presented a 1 second lag, than it makes some good power.
Tried to go Back to the stock CP, still same sintoms, but now I have a LPFP problem plausibility in the dme. No service lights on the painel.
I didnít tried to remove the OCC to se if thatís the problem because everything is correctly installed, but can de OCC cause turbo lag?
My question is, does a weak LPFP could cause those problems???
Last question, tial suggest to use a 1/4Ē vacuum line, using the stock vacuum line can cause what kind of sintoms?
I canít log because Iím not running jb4 or other tunning yet.
Thank you for the help.

Did you make sure to pull the O ring from the stock chargepipe to new one?

Yes, I bought a new one, and make shure to put the o ring in the bov too.

Does the OCC can make lag? Or a weak LPFP?

Sounds like a major boost leak to me.

You can diagnose this by datalogging. If boost is below target, and the WGDC is pinned at maximum then you've got yourself a leak.

You can then find the leak by pressure testing and listen for the leak, or use soapy water and look for bubbles.

Thank you, like the idea of the soapy water!!
