Default Wastegate Rattle - how about loose wastegate - 09-11-2017, 09:58 AM

So everyone has this dreaded rattle. I have tried the following -

Tightening the rear rod
Using the JB4 settings

Both to no avail...

Only until I decided to change all vacuum lines did it find the culprit. My front turbos waste-gate was loose - no bolts. Seems an oil leak from the oil filter housing may have caused the bolts to back out.

I was able to get one bolt back in with out removing the turbos and the rattle is gone.

I could not find that info but ended up using something from the tool box that worked. Let me see if I can get the spec.
